Responsibilities- Identify new market opportunities and support cross-sell initiatives by solving client needs
- Maintain product line pricing standards and underwriting authority for the commercial property line
- Set underwriting strategy for the commercial property product
- Oversee Property product portfolio and aggregation management
- Provide clear underwriting direction to regional teams and ensure execution aligns with product goals
- Prepare and deliver product line training for underwriters and staff
- Conduct timely reviews of accounts beyond authority levels
- Elevate feedback to Senior Leadership on product, underwriting, and claims concerns
- Collaborate with Business Development to target producers and manage client relationships
- Assist in developing new business opportunities
Key requirements- Minimum of 15 years underwriting experience with at least 5 years in Property
- Undergraduate degree preferred; graduate degree and/or industry designations a plus
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Collaborative and high-energy self-starter with a strong sense of urgency
- Proven ability to influence leadership, peers, and underwriters to achieve objectives
- Flexible and adaptable, with strong interpersonal skills
- Executive presence, integrity, energy, and enthusiasm
- Ability to travel 25%
