Equity Analyst, Consumer

In this role, you will conduct in-depth fundamental research on Consumer Discretionary and Consumer Staples to support investment decisions. You will build and maintain financial models, forecasts, and investment theses that inform portfolio construction and security selection. You will partner with portfolio managers to share timely insights and develop high-quality research for internal stakeholders and advisors. You will help educate clients and advisors through clear analyses while upholding governance and compliance standards. This is a collaborative, client-focused opportunity to shape outcomes across a growing SMA platform and broader investment organization.

• Conduct in-depth fundamental research on sectors, industries, and companies, including financial analysis, valuation, earnings assessment, and investment thesis development
• Build and maintain financial models, forecasts, price targets, risk assessments, and investment recommendations for portfolio construction
• Partner with portfolio managers and investment leadership to provide timely insights on holdings and recommended changes
• Develop high-quality research reports, earnings updates, sector commentary, and presentations for internal stakeholders and advisors
• Support advisor engagement activities, educational events, webinars, and due diligence by translating complex analysis into actionable perspectives
• Maintain governance, compliance, and documentation across all research activities and recommendations

• 7+ years of equity research or related investment experience in the consumer sector
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or related field; MBA, CFA, or advanced degree preferred
• Applicable securities licenses or ability to obtain within a defined timeframe
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, scenario analysis, and investment recommendation capabilities
• Experience in buy-side, sell-side, or institutional investment environments preferred
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills to present ideas to portfolio managers and senior stakeholders
