Overview In this role you will lead the Americas Real Estate and Building Services category, shaping sourcing strategy for CAPEX projects and managing supplier relationships. You'll work closely with global and regional stakeholders to deliver best procurement solutions in a fast-paced environment. You will monitor markets and risks to keep category strategies up to date, while aligning with Thales policies and driving value for projects. This is an opportunity to influence how real estate, construction and office services are sourced at scale within a global tech-enabled company.

Responsibilities- Act as the point of contact for internal and external stakeholders and set regional category priorities.
- Support the category strategy to secure targeted projects and competitive advantage for the business.
- Ensure adherence to Thales purchasing policies by category, procurement, and stakeholders teams.
- Identify and deliver clear, measurable savings targets endorsed by business or project.
- Monitor markets to understand key players, risks, innovations, and regulatory changes to inform category strategies.
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in business administration, procurement or comparable field with at least 8 years of relevant procurement experience
- Or Master's degree with at least 6 years of relevant procurement experience
- Experience developing strategy for a complex procurement organization
- Understanding of construction and/or real estate pricing and supplier risk assessments
- Experience with construction contracts (AIA, CCDC) or related complex contracts
- Ability to deploy category strategy to meet short and long-term goals
- Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving and strategic thinking skills
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint for executives, Excel macros, VLOOKUP)
