Overview In this role you will support compliance and procurement processes within CAE's Defense & Security unit, focusing on DoD contract analysis and regulatory flow-downs. You help ensure FAR/DFARS alignment, CPSR readiness, and secure supplier compliance. You will work with procurement and logistics teams to translate complex regulations into actionable guidance. Responsibilities- Analyze DoD prime contracts to identify mandatory FAR/DFARS and special clauses
- Draft and integrate regulatory flow-downs into subcontracts, purchase orders, and supplier agreements
- Track and enforce specialized requirements (e.g., DFARS , ) and update clause libraries with Federal Register changes
- Create plain-language contract briefings for procurement and logistics teams
- Advise procurement on terms, exceptions, and licensing during subcontractor negotiations
- Ensure DPAS ratings are correctly flowed down and prioritized by suppliers
- Review subcontractor representations and certifications for defense work eligibility
- Enforce defense cybersecurity rules (DFARS , CMMC) and conduct internal CPSR-focused file reviews
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in related discipline or 5-8 years of direct aerospace and defense supply chain compliance experience
- Experience reviewing files for DCMA CPSR compliance
- Ability to quickly understand new concepts and apply them in an evolving environment
- Strong attention to detail and analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal and computer skills; ability to work independently or in a team
- Eligibility for DoD personal security clearance; U.S. citizenship required
- Preferred: proficiency with Deltek/Costpoint, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and DoD procurement processes
