Overview As Treasury Consultant in BMO's TPS Sales for Commercial Real Estate, you will guide a portfolio of public sector clients through tailored treasury solutions and revenue growth. You will collaborate with Relationship Managers and cross-functional teams to deliver liquidity, payments, and risk management strategies. You'll analyze client data to structure bank products, while ensuring smooth onboarding and ongoing support. Responsibilities- Manage and grow a portfolio of public sector clients with tailored treasury solutions
- Meet/exceed sales and portfolio growth targets including new relationships and cross-selling
- Partner with Relationship Managers for deepening client relationships and converting prospects
- Develop proposals, pricing, and presentations for new business opportunities
- Conduct regular business reviews with clients, offering liquidity, payments, and risk insights
- Analyze financial and industry data to tailor treasury product structuring
- Collaborate with Service and Onboarding teams for seamless implementations
- Maintain accurate Salesforce records and performance reporting
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls
- Engage in industry events to stay informed and support sales strategy
- Coach junior Treasury Advisors and Portfolio Managers for progression
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree
- 8+ years in treasury management sales within banking or fintech; corporate treasury practitioner experience preferred
- Experience with Commercial Real Estate
- Strong relationship management and consultative solution delivery
- Analytical skills with Excel and reporting tools
- Deep knowledge of treasury products, payment systems, and cash management
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
