Overview As a Quality Engineer at Stratasys in Eden Prairie, you will help prevent product variability from impacting performance and customer experience. You will partner with manufacturing, engineering, production, and suppliers to drive quality, support NPI, and lead CAPA and process improvements. Your hands-on quality expertise will strengthen supplier quality and help build reliable, high-quality products. You'll contribute to a culture focused on compliant, data-driven quality across the product value chain.
Compensation / Benefits Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with internal SOPs, external standards, and regulatory requirements
- Lead and support CAPA, risk management, change requests, nonconformances, audit findings, and process improvements
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, production, and supplier teams to investigate and resolve quality issues
- Support supplier quality activities including supplier evaluations, material qualifications, supplier audits, First Article Inspection, and issue resolution
- Develop, evaluate, and implement inspection and testing protocols for in-process, raw, and finished materials
- Analyze quality data to identify trends and recommend corrective actions
- Provide product containment recommendations for non-conforming material and complete QC analyses
- Prepare, review, and maintain documentation for inspection procedures, testing methods, records, and SOPs
- Lead, mentor, and train production staff on quality processes
- Support validation, qualification, continuation engineering, and continuous improvement projects
- Adhere to safety policies and Stratasys values and behaviors
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 5+ years of Quality Engineering experience (or advanced degree)
- ITAR qualification
- Experience in regulated environments with ISO 9001 and AS9100 knowledge
- Proficient Root Cause Analysis and experience leading CAPA
- Demonstrated lead auditor experience
- Basic statistical analysis skills including SPC
