Overview In this role you will strengthen Abbott's supply chain resilience by leading enterprise-wide risk identification, assessment, and mitigation. You'll partner with procurement, operations, quality, finance, ESG, and executives to protect supply continuity and brand reputation across a global network. You will design the SCR program, leverage AI and analytics to anticipate disruptions, and guide cross-functional teams through governance and mitigation actions. Responsibilities- Lead and evolve the enterprise-wide supply chain and supplier risk management strategy and resilience roadmap
- Design, implement, and manage the Supply Chain Resilience (SCR) program including governance, metrics, reporting, mapping, and tools
- Leverage AI, predictive analytics, and risk intelligence to identify disruptions and improve risk visibility
- Monitor and assess supplier and third-party risks (financial, operational, geopolitical, sustainability, logistics, BC, single-source)
- Conduct risk assessments, scenario planning, and resilience analyses to prioritize risks by likelihood, impact, and criticality
- Develop and drive mitigation strategies (alternate sourcing, dual qualification, inventory optimization, contractual risk controls)
- Partner with Procurement, Operations, Quality, Finance, ESG, Global Security, Government Affairs, Customs & Trade, Logistics to embed risk management into processes
- Establish governance through the Supply Chain Resilience Community of Practice to drive accountability and action
- Collaborate on resilience metrics and scorecards to measure and improve performance
- Provide executive-level reporting and recommendations on emerging risks and mitigation progress
- Support leaders during disruptions with data-driven analysis and strategic guidance
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 7+ years in supply chain, operations, procurement, logistics, or related fields
- Experience identifying, assessing, and mitigating global supply chain risks
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence without direct authority
- Strong project management, organizational, and prioritization skills
- Effective communication across all organizational levels, including executives
- Advanced Excel and data-driven decision-making capabilities
