Overview

In this Senior Electrical Engineer role, you lead electrical engineering work on complex projects, guiding design and technical reviews to ensure safety, sustainability, and compliance. You'll oversee scope, schedule, and budgets while mentoring staff and advancing team capabilities. You work across power systems, microgrids, PV, and building services, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality deliverables. Responsibilities
  • Lead electrical engineering work on complex projects
  • Track scope, schedule, and fee; oversee technical reviews and deliverables
  • Guide models, plans, details, and drawings per standards
  • Provide in-depth guidance on electrical systems design (MV, microgrids, PV, building power, lighting, low voltage)
  • Lead electrical calculations (SKM, arc flash, photometrics)
  • Support career development and technical skills of team members
  • Motivate and lead teams; communicate with non-technical stakeholders
  • Manage project and staffing plans; ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
  • Represent discipline in meetings and conferences; deliver technical presentations
  • Conduct training sessions as needed
Key requirements
  • BA/BS in related field or MA/MS in related field; Fifteen years of related experience
  • Registered Professional Engineer (PE) certification
  • Minimum 10 years leading engineering projects
  • Experience in building power systems, lighting design, MV distribution, SKM, photometrics
  • Experience with building electrical design for commercial, mixed-use, aviation, hospitality, or high-rise
  • Experience with sustainable building systems and credentials (LEED, GBI, etc.)
  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication for internal/external stakeholders
  • Experience with discipline-specific software and calculation tools
  • Substantial experience with Autodesk Revit and coordinating design documents
  • Ability to read/interpret complex technical documents
  • Ability to travel to project sites or offices
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
