Overview In this high-visibility role, you drive the industrialization and quality of interior trim and coverstock for Lucid's luxury vehicles. You will coordinate cross-functional teams and suppliers to balance design with robust manufacturing, enabling early design decisions and seamless mass production. The position focuses on elevating product quality through APQP/PPAP processes, supplier audits, and process improvement at a global scale. You will shape supplier engagement and quality practices to protect both Lucid plants and customers, in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities- Manage complex supply chains across Asia, Europe, and the Americas
- Develop, manage, and improve APQP from design to PPAP and mass production
- Lead design reviews ensuring DFM/A and quality expectations in interior components
- Drive and track Engineering Design Change activities across tier suppliers
- Collaborate with Studio, Design Engineering, Purchasing, Plant Manufacturing, and SQEs for proper component development
- Conduct supplier assessments, audits, and site inspections; develop and implement improvement plans
- Document processes and ensure ISO9001 and AIAG/IATF16949 compliance
- Analyze supplier and plant data to assess capability and meet build requirements
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Industrial Engineering or related field
- Minimum 8 years in high-volume manufacturing or assembly environments in Supplier Quality, Quality Engineering, R&D, or Manufacturing Engineering
- At least 6 years of hands-on APQP and PPAP project management
- Experience with Interior components and manufacturing processes (Interior Trims, Wrapping, Coverstock, Cut/Sew, Injection Molding, welding, adhesives, OOT)
- Proficiency in reading schematics and drawings; knowledge of chassis quality standards
- Strong quality tool knowledge (IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA, FMEA, DOE, DFM/A, GD&T)
- Proven collaboration and problem-solving abilities, with strong communication skills
- Willingness to travel 25-75% as needed
- Preferred: Master's degree; Six Sigma Black Belt or similar certification
