Overview In this role you will shape the supply chain for Anduril's Maneuver Dominance autonomous air vehicle program. You work closely with engineering, quality, and manufacturing to optimize supplier networks, drive cost management, and enable rapid production ramp. You will influence foundational architecture decisions in a lean, high-ownership environment and help redefine a platform from day one. The role blends strategic sourcing with hands-on execution to deliver a high-mix, low-volume, high-tech product that advances defense capabilities.

Responsibilities- Conduct supplier selection from the approved list
- Collaborate with strategic suppliers to accelerate development through scoping, trade-off analysis, and joint design work
- Develop and consolidate a manufacturing BOM with Quality & Manufacturing for internal and supplier ramp
- Manage CAPEX across NPI
- Perform value-stream mapping to optimize lead time and flexibility of the supply network
- Complete BOM risk assessments including alternate sourcing
- Ensure component qualifications prior to production
- Drive cost engineering to converge to product cost and optimize TCO
- Handle ad-hoc cost issues such as tariffs and cost inflation
Key requirements- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience in electronics and/or mechanical design
- Advanced sourcing activities including commodity/sourcing management
- Supplier development (technology, process, supply chain)
- Early supplier engagement before product/engineering requirements
- Experience with high-tech products in high-mix, low-volume environments
- Experience in a fast-paced startup environment
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. security clearance
