Overview As an Account Manager at Rippling, you own the customer relationship for your book and guide clients to maximize adoption of Rippling's back-office products. You will drive onboarding, renewals, and expansion, balancing strategic advisory with hands-on execution. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver value, tackle complex needs, and secure long-term revenue growth. Responsibilities- Engage customers through lifecycle events (go-live, renewals, executive reviews)
- Understand HR/IT/Finance needs and apply a solutions-based approach
- Build relationships with multiple stakeholders and manage a strategic sales process
- Negotiate procurement and contract execution within the broader relationship
- Develop a pipeline for cross-sells, product upgrades, and renewals to meet monthly targets
- Demonstrate Rippling products via adoption playbooks and prospecting
- Partner with product, support, and operations to ensure success and retention
- Act entrepreneurially to tailor adoption strategies to each customer's operations
Key requirements- 2+ years of SaaS experience in account management, sales, or quota-carrying customer success
- Track record of meeting/exceeding quota through new product sales and upgrades
- Consultative discovery and structured sales process, with demos
- Proven ability to build and maintain long-term commercial relationships
- Effective communication, trust-building, and collaboration across diverse teams
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
