Overview In this role you will lead Cox Automotive's consolidation and intercompany accounting to enable accurate, timely financial reporting and strong internal controls. You'll oversee the monthly consolidation process, intercompany activity, and accounting for goodwill and investments, while supporting acquisitions, divestitures, and system integrations. You will mentor a small accounting team, drive process standardization and automation, and ensure audit readiness and GAAP compliance. This is a strategic finance leadership role with broad cross-functional impact.

Responsibilities- Lead the monthly OneStream consolidation process across US Oracle financial systems and international locations
- Oversee accounting, reporting, and impairment testing for investments, goodwill, intangible assets, and equity
- Prepare and review monthly reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, account analyses, and flux commentary
- Oversee and improve the consolidated intercompany process and governance of inter- and intra-divisional balances
- Provide accounting support for strategic initiatives, acquisitions, divestitures, and organizational changes
- Support external audits, compliance activities, and internal controls testing
- Support debt reporting and covenant compliance requirements
- Drive process improvements, automation, and standardization across consolidation and intercompany processes
- Partner with Technical Accounting, Tax, and International Accounting to support global reporting and GAAP compliance
- Lead mapping, testing, validation, and implementation for new ledgers and acquisitions into OneStream
- Manage a team of 2 employees, including coaching, cross-training, and professional development
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, and/or finance; 6+ years of accounting experience (master's with 4+ years, PhD with 1+ year acceptable)
- 1+ year in a management or lead role
- 2+ years in consolidation or intercompany in a large multinational
- Strong knowledge of month-end close and GAAP
- Proven ability to lead and develop teams
- Hybrid work capability with ability to handle shifting priorities

- Proficiency in Hyperion Financial Manager/OneStream; Oracle Financials, Blackline, Power BI preferred; Excel, Word, PowerPoint
