Overview In this role you will oversee and mentor a team while developing deep tax knowledge for client engagements. You will build strong client relationships, deliver timely tax advice and position memoranda, and manage multiple CIM engagements across accounting methods, incentives studies, and tangible property services. You will stay current on regulatory changes and pursue professional certifications to sustain expertise. Responsibilities- Oversee, mentor, and manage a team on projects
- Develop client understanding and become a functional tax expert
- Research and write tax advice and memoranda
- Maintain regular client contact and ensure timely service
- Manage multiple projects with technical discussions and resource coordination
- Deliver high-quality client service that meets expectations
- Support professional development and certifications
- Contribute to CIM engagements related to SMP, FCI, and TPS
- Stay updated on industry regulation and pursue ongoing education
Key requirements- Minimum 4 years of public accounting experience (or mix of public accounting and industry/law)
- Undergraduate degree in business or sciences
- Certification and licensure as CPA, JD, or Enrolled Agent
- Intermediate MS Excel and Access skills
- Ability to travel up to 20-50%
- Masters in Accounting (preferred)
- Experience at large national accounting firm (preferred)
