Overview As Principal Water Treatment Design Engineer/Manager, you lead municipal water and wastewater projects from planning to construction, guiding cross functional teams and client relationships. You'll act as both designer and project lead, ensuring delivery on time and within budget while supporting business development. The role blends hands on technical leadership with staff mentorship in Arcadis' resilience and water initiatives. Responsibilities- Lead planning, design, and construction of municipal water/wastewater facilities, pump stations, stormwater systems, and water distribution/collection networks
- Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, and cost estimates to ensure timely, on budget delivery
- Support business development and cultivate client relationships; represent Arcadis in industry engagements
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, supervise staff, and mentor junior engineers and designers
- Prepare and review engineering deliverables and maintain Arcadis standards and specifications
Key requirements- 12 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or related field
- Licensed Professional Engineer in California
