Overview In this role you shape investment views on the AI infrastructure space, focusing on neoclouds and data center buildout. You will own earnings and valuation models and translate industry trends into actionable conclusions for institutional investors. You work closely with management teams, internal desks, and clients to communicate stock views and market themes. This is a market-facing, high-visibility position where your analysis can move allocations in a dynamic teknology-adjacent sector. Responsibilities- Own and maintain detailed earnings and valuation models across neocloud, hyperscale, and data center buildout universe (including GPU cloud providers, colocation and wholesale data center operators, and capital expenditure supply chain)
- Analyze industry trends, capacity growth, power and cooling constraints, financing structures, contract economics, and AI compute demand; translate into actionable investment conclusions
- Publish weekly and monthly research with direct authorship and accountability for views
- Develop marketing materials and present team views to clients and institutional sales
- Build and maintain relationships with company management and industry contacts for insider insights
- Directly communicate stock views and themes to institutional investors and trading desks with seniority-aligned ownership
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to overall research process and coverage strategy
- Perform other tasks as required
Key requirements- Bachelor degree; advanced degree (MBA, MS) or CFA is a plus
- 5-10+ years of relevant industry experience in networking or optical hardware, with a track record in the sector
- Deep understanding of neocloud and data center buildout with an established network
- Active FINRA Series 86 and 87 licenses required
- Strong written and verbal communication, with experience publishing research for institutional audiences
- High fluency in accounting and financial statement analysis
- Superior financial modeling skills with self-auditing discipline
- Ability to work independently and in teams, manage a coverage area, and prioritize with minimal direction
