Overview In this role you help communities by leading audit engagements for state and local government clients within CLA's SLG practice. You will mentor teams, manage engagement progress, and coordinate with principals to deliver timely, accurate findings and recommendations. You'll collaborate across offices to grow the SLG practice and support clients' funding and financial objectives. This is a hands-on leadership position with a focus on quality, timelines, and client service.

Responsibilities- Build and sustain client relationships
- Assist clients in securing funding and achieving financial objectives
- Oversee audit engagements with tools to support planning and execution
- Mentor staff and supervise client engagement teams
- Monitor budgets and deadlines; communicate progress to engagement principal with conclusions and recommendations
Key requirements- Bachelor in Accounting
- minimum 6 years of public accounting experience with emphasis in financial statement preparation and audits
