Senior Project Manager- Data Center Construction

Overview

In this role you will lead management of large-scale construction projects to deliver compliant, on-time outcomes. You will collaborate with clients, architects, engineers and suppliers to apply governance, track milestones and maintain design standards. You will provide cost control, value engineering and constructability guidance while ensuring effective information flow and reporting. This position offers exposure to cross-functional teams and strategic initiatives that shape project delivery and client relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Manage stakeholders (architects, engineers, supply chains) to deliver compliant projects
  • Analyze and track critical milestones to avoid schedule slips
  • Ensure application of project governance, processes and systems
  • Produce formal project status reports and other required reports
  • Monitor progress of multiple construction projects to ensure design standards are applied
  • Coordinate interface between suppliers via monthly trackers and weekly reviews
  • Manage project information flow through meetings and written communications
  • Forecast and update key project milestones
  • Oversee local design teams per commission criteria
  • Provide technical support to owners, architects, general contractors and stakeholders
  • Respond rapidly to RFIs from the field
  • Provide cost control, value engineering and constructability guidance
  • Independent review of status, drawings, timelines and costs
  • Develop client relationships to maximize opportunities
  • Strategic thinking to advise teams on approaches to meet client and business objectives
  • Knowledge management to capture learnings from each project
  • Process improvement to enhance internal systems and processes
  • SOX control responsibilities where applicable
Key requirements
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent with relevant experience
  • Minimum 5-7 years of project management experience
  • Strong organizational and collaborative skills
  • Effective presentation abilities
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Procore and construction project management tools experience
