Commercial Pricing Manager

As Commercial Pricing Manager, you will shape and lead pricing strategy to drive profitable growth for a leading professional services firm. You will act as a trusted partner to senior leaders, building pricing capability and best practice across bids, client proposals, and pricing governance. You'll develop financial models, influence strategic decisions, and deliver training to raise pricing capability. • Act as the go-to pricing specialist advising senior stakeholders on commercial opportunities, bids and client proposals
• Support development and negotiation of complex fee arrangements (fixed fees, retainers, subscriptions, alternative pricing models)
• Partner with business development and bid teams to strengthen propositions and improve win rates
• Build financial models to evaluate pricing strategies, profitability and risks
• Analyze client, project and portfolio profitability to identify trends and improvement opportunities
• Develop pricing frameworks, playbooks and tools for commercial decision-making
• Present complex financial analysis clearly to financial and non-financial stakeholders
• Deliver pricing training to raise capability across the business
• Drive continuous improvement in pricing governance, processes and reporting
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and service models to support growth and innovation
• Support the full client life cycle from opportunity to project delivery, profitability and cash collection

• Experience in commercial pricing, commercial finance, FP&A or business partnering in a professional services environment
• Strong pricing and financial modelling expertise with profitability impact awareness
• Ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders while building relationships
• Advanced analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Experience supporting bids, tenders, proposals and client negotiations
• Strong commercial acumen balancing client expectations with profitability and strategic objectives
• Excellent presentation and communication skills; ability to simplify complex financial concepts
• Experience developing dashboards, management information and BI reporting
• Ability to design and deliver training and coaching programmes
• Advanced Excel; experience with Power BI and BI tools
