Asst/Assoc Professor, Cardiology

In this cardiology role, you will deliver comprehensive cardiovascular care, applying innovative treatment approaches. You will work within a multidisciplinary TTUHSC environment that prioritizes patient-centered service and education. The position supports growth in a state-of-the-art Health & Wellness Hospital, with opportunities to impact patient outcomes and participate in academic activities. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance cardiovascular health and adopt new technologies and standards.

• Diagnose and treat cardiovascular diseases and disorders
• Conduct early-detection screenings and order/perform diagnostic testing
• Develop ongoing treatment and disease-management plans
• Prescribe medications and coordinate referrals as needed
• Maintain accurate patient records and charts
• Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, staff and administration

• MD/DO or equivalent
• Completion of, or in progress with a Cardiology Fellowship
• Active Texas Medical License
• Board Certification in Cardiology (preferred)
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (preferred)
