Overview In this senior engineering role you will own MEMS wafer processing and drive process improvement across MEMS product lines. You will collaborate with Production, R&D, Quality, and global teams to optimize yield, validate equipment and tooling, and implement robust process controls. You will mentor junior engineers and promote knowledge sharing to elevate the team. The position centers on delivering reliable, cost-effective MEMS manufacturing while upholding safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities- Own and maintain process documentation, control plans, PFMEAs, and engineering standards for assigned production modules
- Ensure manufacturing processes meet quality, reliability, and performance specs
- Lead engineering activities for MEMS/molded product lines including yield optimization and cross-functional design reviews
- Drive cost reduction and quality improvement via Six Sigma, SPC, DOE, ANOVA, and root-cause methods
- Support daily manufacturing activities by evaluating defects and implementing corrective actions
- Lead disposition of non-conforming material and coordinate failure analysis
- Develop, test, and document new or modified manufacturing processes; qualify equipment, tooling, and metrology systems
- Provide guidance to process technicians and operators for respective areas
- Champion production safety programs and ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, or TS 16949
Key requirements- Hands on MEMS wafer processing in a cleanroom
- Data-driven decision making
- Proficiency with metrology equipment, wafer probing systems, and SPC/DOE software (Minitab/JMP)
- Experience with process control, PFMEA, control plans, and specifications
- Strong analytical and statistical skills with ANOVA, SPC, DOE
- BS/MS in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Manufacturing, or Materials Engineering (or closely related field)
