Overview In this role you become the dedicated expert for gear, building long-term relationships with a large base of customers. You will advise on musical instruments and pro audio gear, design or tailor sound systems for churches, schools, studios, and live venues, and stay current on new products. You work closely with the Product Support team to ensure outstanding service and participate in ongoing training. This position blends deep product knowledge with proactive customer engagement to drive satisfaction and sales.
Responsibilities- Build and maintain relationships with customers through 80-100 outbound calls daily
- Provide professional advice on musical instruments and pro audio gear
- Design and select gear for churches, schools, recording studios, and live venues
- Educate customers across gear categories: guitar tone, amplification, digital audio recording, MIDI, sound synthesis, drums, live sound
- Follow up on orders and troubleshoot gear issues with Product Support
- Attend brand office hours and meetings to learn about new products
Key requirements- Self-motivated with strong people skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication and typing skills
- Recent graduates or alumni from Music Technology, Audio Production, or Music Business programs (with several years' experience) or equivalent experience
- Previous experience in music industry sales or hands-on training in a recording studio or live music venue
