Overview In this role you drive the design and delivery of multidisciplinary science facilities, leading teams from development through close-out. You will manage complex projects, foster strong client relationships, and ensure on-time, on-budget results. You contribute to HDR's mission of creating resilient, sustainable spaces that support healing, learning, and research. You work within HDR's collaborative, employee-owned culture to shape impactful built environments.
Responsibilities- Direct and coordinate work of single or multidiscipline teams through the project lifecycle
- Oversee large multidiscipline or complex projects with significant technical content
- Manage multiple projects concurrently
- Maintain client relations and participate in marketing, contractual, design and production meetings
- Lead work sessions for deliverable development with staff and stakeholders
- Coordinate staffing and workload to meet schedules
- Monitor and adjust project budgets and schedules with leadership
- Implement QA/QC procedures and mentor less-experienced PMs
- Perform other duties as needed
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Architecture
- 10 years related experience
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience
- Registered Architect
- Ability to lead a team on projects
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project)
- Knowledge of local and regional market
- Good planning and mentoring skills
- US citizenship (due to client contract requirements)
- PMP certification (preferred)
