Overview In this role you help federal clients modernize finance operations, focusing on accounting, internal controls, and data analysis within a tech-enabled transformation. You'll work with cross-functional teams to support CFOs and controllers on regulatory demands and audit readiness. The role combines finance management, process improvement, and data-driven insights to deliver measurable improvements. You will impact asset accountability and financial reporting at scale, contributing to Deloitte GPS mission.

Responsibilities- Support federal accounting operations and application of Federal GAAP
- Analyze general ledger activity, reconciliations, journal entries, and chart of accounts
- Assist with internal controls, FIAR, and FISCAM-aligned activities
- Support PP&E, OM&S, IUS, inventory, and asset accountability
- Conduct data validation, control testing, reporting, and SQL-based analyses
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree (explicit)
- 1+ years of experience in federal financial management, GAAP, GL, reconciliations, FIAR, FISCAM, or related areas
- Active security clearance (Secret, Top Secret, TS/SCI, or TS/SCI with CI)
