Overview As Director of Production Operations, you will lead the site's manufacturing and supply activities for highly complex, regulatory-driven products. You will align operations with corporate goals, drive on-time delivery, and ensure strict quality and safety standards. You will build and mentor the operations leadership team while fostering cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement. Your work will shape robust processes, ensure compliance, and deliver reliable products to Mirion Technologies' customers. This role offers strategic impact in a highly technical, regulated environment, with a clear focus on quality, supply assurance, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities- Define and communicate the site's vision, mission, and operating objectives
- Oversee financial performance including revenue, costs, working capital, and cash flow
- Act as safety lead to maintain a safe work culture
- Advocate for customers and resolve prioritization issues to ensure a positive experience
- Participate in strategic planning and implementation of goals
- Set realistic production budgets, schedules, and performance standards
- Approve capital expenditures within guidelines
- Manage day-to-day production operations through managers and supervisors
- Partner with Quality to uphold process controls and continuous improvement
- Drive continuous improvement and standard work using KPI metrics and balanced scorecards
- Develop and administer Lean and continuous improvement initiatives
- Plan investments to reduce costs and improve productivity and process controls
- Oversee inventory management aligned with sales and financial goals
- Lead sourcing to ensure cost-efficient material availability
- Promote ethical behavior and the Company's core values
- Lead communications programs and town halls
- Foster cross-functional teamwork and superior customer service
- Ensure compliance with Global Code of Business Principles and applicable policies
