Overview As Director of Payments and Fraud, you will lead the omnichannel payments strategy across all brands, shaping secure and frictionless transactions. You'll manage a team of product managers within the Purchase Value Stream to drive measurable impact in adoption, conversion, and fraud reduction. You'll partner with Finance, Legal, and Engineering to ensure compliance while innovating with new payment methods. This role sits at the heart of Gap Inc.'s commerce transformation, blending scale, security, and customer trust.

Responsibilities- Define and execute omnichannel payments and fraud strategy across online, in-store, and emerging methods for all brands
- Lead a team of product managers, setting goals and developing talent across payment and fraud surfaces
- Present at Value Stream Performance Reviews with updates and escalations for Sr. Director visibility
- Drive AI-based fraud prevention capabilities to balance security and customer experience
- Own cross-functional dependencies with Cart & Checkout, Store Mode & POS, Lifecycle & Loyalty
- Contribute to quarterly strategy planning translating trends into product direction
- Partner with Finance, Legal/Compliance, and stakeholders to meet regulatory objectives
- Champion data-driven experimentation to optimize payment success and reduce fraud false positives
Key requirements- 8+ years in product management in payments, fintech, or related fields
- 3+ years leading product teams
- Proven experience scaling payment platforms with improved authorization and adoption
- Strong technical acumen in payment gateways, fraud detection, PCI-DSS, and processing architecture
