Overview In this role you will contribute to the design and execution of water and wastewater projects, leveraging advanced electrical engineering knowledge. You will work with a cross functional team to define scopes, budgets, and design approaches, while coordinating with clients, consultants, and vendors. You will act as a technical resource on complex projects and help develop new standards. Responsibilities- Perform engineering design tasks on assigned projects including drawings, reports, and calculations
- Develop project scope, budgets, and design approach; support in proposals and client interviews
- Coordinate with stakeholders and internal/external teams to prepare specifications
- Lead project coordination meetings with team members, consultants, and vendors
- Act as a technical resource on complex projects and stay updated on engineering practices
- Contribute to development of electrical design standards and specifications
- Supervise project resources and help manage budgets and schedules with PMs
- Engineer of record for own work and for non licensed engineers' work
Key requirements- Requisite knowledge of industry standards and electrical codes
- Experience with distribution systems (120/208V, 480V, 4160V)
- Experience with schematic and block diagram development
- Strong understanding of water/wastewater project document production; knowledge of drawings and specifications
- Ability to lead teams through project document production
- Excellent communication of electrical concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, BIM360; Revit is a plus; ETAP and SKM PowerTools are pluses
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; 10+ years of experience; PE preferred or EIT with path to PE
