Overview

As Director, you will define the product strategy for content standards, structure, metadata, and AI readiness to support responsible AI-enabled clinical decision support. You'll partner with cross-functional teams to translate content needs into platform requirements and measurable outcomes, ensuring editors can focus on high-value clinical work. You'll shape content rubrics, improve search and retrieval readiness, and maintain source traceability. This role offers influence across product, editorial, clinical, AI, and engineering teams and centers on delivering trusted, structured content for AI-powered experiences.

Responsibilities
  • Define content product strategy to enable responsible AI-enabled clinical decision support
  • Set roadmap priorities for search, retrieval, answer generation, source grounding, and editor workflows
  • Translate content standards and editorial needs into scalable platform requirements
  • Lead evolution of content rubrics and standards with clinical, editorial, product, and AI teams
  • Build feedback loops to identify content gaps, quality issues, and user pain points
  • Define requirements for content structure, tagging, taxonomy, metadata, source traceability, and authoring workflows
  • Collaborate with Editorial Operations, editorial platform, and engineering to identify workflow and tooling needs for scalable content creation, curation, review, and maintenance
  • Align product, editorial, clinical, engineering, AI, commercial, and leadership stakeholders
  • Communicate content strategy, priorities, tradeoffs, and impact to senior and executive stakeholders
Key requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in product management, content product, platform product, editorial strategy, knowledge management, taxonomy, healthcare content, or related areas
  • Proven ability to set product strategy and lead cross-functional initiatives as an individual contributor
  • Strong understanding of content quality, editorial workflows, structured content, metadata, taxonomy, or knowledge systems
  • Ability to translate complex content and platform needs into product requirements, prioritization frameworks, and measurable outcomes
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to define metrics, feedback loops, and decision frameworks
