Overview In this role, you will lead the design and execution of comprehensive compliance programs to meet legal and regulatory standards. You will collaborate with internal teams to enforce policies, mitigate risks, and maintain operational integrity. You will conduct audits, assess compliance gaps, and refresh HR policies to reflect current laws. You will equip employees with training and liaise with legal counsel to address escalated topics, driving a culture of ethical compliance at scale.
Responsibilities- Develop and manage compliance frameworks aligned with laws and regulations
- Conduct audits, assessments, and risk monitoring programs
- Draft, review, and revise HR policies to reflect current legal standards
- Monitor compliance metrics and report findings to senior leadership
- Provide guidance on employment classifications, wage and hour rules, and payroll compliance
- Collaborate with regulatory agencies and act as liaison for compliance matters
- Support business continuity through cross-functional policy reviews and revisions
- Ensure reporting compliance at federal and state levels, including EEO and pay transparency
- Provide expert interpretation of regulatory directives to stakeholders
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Law, or related field.
- 7-10 years of HR compliance experience with strong knowledge of employment laws
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Compliance certifications like CRCMP or CCEP preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality
- Experience in audits and risk-monitoring frameworks
- Knowledge of federal and state reporting requirements including EEO and pay transparency
- Ability to interpret regulatory directives to stakeholders
