Overview In this role you will advance our most advanced converters as part of a highly capable team, tackling complex circuit design challenges. You will shape block-level implementations, assess trade-offs, and drive architecture decisions to meet project goals. You'll model, document, and review designs while collaborating with layout and evaluation teams to deliver high-performance mixed-signal ICs. This is a hands-on role with lab work and cross-functional teamwork, offering impact in data converters used across automotive, aerospace, and digital healthcare domains. Responsibilities- Collaborate with designers to implement key circuit blocks within a defined architecture
- Assess block-level trade-offs and make decisions to meet project goals
- Design transistor-level circuits
- Develop behavioral models for designed blocks
- Prepare design documents and conduct design reviews
- Collaborate with layout engineering teams
- Perform hands-on lab work alongside evaluation engineers
Key requirements- M.S. or beyond in Electrical Engineering
- 2+ years' experience in CMOS design
- Strong understanding of wide bandwidth amplifiers and comparators, switched capacitor circuits, precision references, LDOs
- Experience with Cadence schematic capture and SPICE simulations
- Experience with MATLAB as a behavioral modeling tool
- Good written and verbal communication skills, ability to work in a large team
