Overview

As a Vice President in TD Securities' Real Estate Investment Banking practice in New York, you'll lead the sourcing and execution of real estate transactions while maintaining strategic client dialogue. You'll develop transaction ideas, structure deals, and guide junior bankers through complex processes, shaping outcomes for clients and the bank. You will work cross-functionally with coverage, product, and risk teams to progress deals and generate revenue. Responsibilities
  • Develop transaction ideas and discuss context with senior coverage team
  • Execute transactions and drive revenue across product areas
  • Structure and deliver high-impact presentations
  • Maintain and expand client relationships during deal progress
  • Provide expertise to senior coverage on deal execution and market knowledge
  • Mentor and guide junior bankers in pitchbooks, live deal materials, and financial models
  • Build presentations and participate in client discussions, ensuring timely follow-up
  • Interact with senior TD Securities teams and client management daily to run transactions and discuss strategic alternatives
  • Manage deal execution and project management through transaction lifecycle
  • Oversee business valuations and financial analysis
  • Coordinate with cross-functional groups (Leveraged Finance, Debt Capital Markets, Equity Capital Markets, Corporate Risk Solutions)
  • Prepare due diligence, offering memoranda, management presentations, and ad-hoc analyses
Key requirements
  • 5+ years of investment banking experience, with strong Real Estate experience preferred
  • Excellent analytical and modeling skills; strong knowledge of finance and accounting principles
  • Proven deal execution capability and project management expertise
  • Strong client interaction skills in professional settings
  • Ability to lead and develop teams; effective with cross-functional collaboration
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree from a leading university
  • Series 79 and 63 preferred
