Overview As a GNC engineer, you will support sustainment and development of guidance, navigation, and control systems for Boeing's defense programs at Hill AFB or Layton. You will work within Flight Engineering to analyze GNC models, support testing, and help ensure end-to-life sustainment for Minuteman III guidance. The role offers exposure to G&C methods across the enterprise and the chance to contribute to mission-critical systems.

Responsibilities- Gather system-level GNC sustainment requirements
- Analyze GNC systems, simulations, models, and tools; document findings
- Support reviews, analyses, simulations, and testing to meet customer requirements
- Assist in testing and troubleshooting sustainment-related anomalies
- Participate in Minuteman III Guidance efforts to sustain or surpass EOL requirements
Key requirements- Bachelor of Science degree in listed fields or non-US equivalent
- Level 2: 2+ years of related experience or education
- Level 3: 5+ years of related experience or education
- Level 4: 9+ years of related experience or education
- Experience or coursework in control systems or GNC design
- Simulation and/or system/component modeling
- Kalman Filter design and estimation techniques
- Real-time implementation of algorithms
- Auto-coding of software
- Matlab/Simulink, MatrixX or similar tools
- Programming in C, C++, Ada, or other common languages
