Electrical Engineer (Semiconductor / Atmospheric Solutions)

Overview

In this role you contribute to the development of advanced control solutions for semiconductor automation. You will collaborate with mechanical and software engineers to deliver complete product systems, from PCB design to validation in labs. You'll engage in cross-functional reviews and prototyping, driving documentation and design standards. Responsibilities
  • Collaborate on the development of new generation control solutions and analyze complex field/manufacturing challenges
  • Develop new PCBs for system and robot controllers and create Engineering Design Specifications
  • Deliver technical presentations and drive cross-functional issue resolution
  • Ensure proper documentation, process consistency, and engineering design standards
  • Work with mechanical and software engineers to deliver complete product solutions
  • Participate in design reviews and hands-on prototyping/testing in the labs
  • Track priorities in the online project system and respond to issues from customers or operations teams
Key requirements
  • Bachelor in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years or Master in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years
  • Spice modeling and analysis or equivalent
  • Digital circuit design with microcontrollers and communication protocols (SPI/I2C/Serial)
  • DC-DC power supply circuits
  • Component selection and datasheet interpretation
  • Cable design
  • Experience using standard lab equipment and tools
  • Prototyping and debugging circuits in a lab
  • Strong Windows applications skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to learn complex systems quickly and work independently
  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Strong technical communication and presentation skills
  • Competency in Altium preferred
  • Occasional travel
