Overview

In this EHS role, you will provide advanced environmental and safety support for a fixed facility, working on the floor with high visibility. You will design training, perform hazard analyses, and lead safety and environmental inspections to protect colleagues and operations. You'll administer EHS programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive injury and illness prevention through root-cause investigations and targeted improvements. Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver safety and environmental training
  • Perform job hazard analyses for safety and environmental matters
  • Conduct workplace safety and environmental inspections and audits
  • Facilitate and oversee near-miss and injury investigations with root-cause analysis
  • Administer EHS programs and policies per OSHA, EPA, and DOT
  • Implement and maintain written EHS programs aligned with regulations
  • Oversee hearing conservation program per OSHA requirements
  • Maintain facility contractor safety manual and related records
  • Manage Workers' Compensation claims and track injury/illness trends
  • Liaise with insurance providers and regulatory bodies during inspections
  • Prepare and keep current all EHS records for inspections
  • Develop strategies to return injured workers to work promptly
  • Oversee and monitor Ethical Sourcing guidelines
Key requirements
  • BA/BS degree in science, engineering or related discipline
  • 5-10+ years of related experience
  • OHST or CSP or similar certifications are a plus
  • Manufacturing experience preferred; food & beverage a plus
