Overview As U.S. & Global Employment Litigation and Compliance Counsel at NVIDIA, you will oversee pre-litigation and government inquiries across the U.S. and internationally, shaping litigation strategy with internal and external teams. You will advise on global employment compliance, policy localization, and cross-border investigations, partnering with HR and business functions. You will support HR initiatives, M&A, and employment policies while translating regulatory changes into actionable guidance. This role combines risk management with pragmatic business judgment in a fast-paced, globally distributed environment.
Compensation / Benefits Responsibilities- Manage pre-litigation disputes, demand letters, administrative charges, and government inquiries (U.S. and international)
- Collaborate with litigation team and outside counsel on strategy, risk assessment, and resolution
- Advise on U.S. and global employment matters, compliance, and policy localization, including works councils and information-and-consultation obligations
- Support HR initiatives, M&A, and employment policies with risk-aware pragmatism
- Monitor regulatory developments and turn them into actionable guidance
Key requirements- Active California State Bar membership in good standing
- JD with strong academic credentials
- 10+ years of employment law experience in-house and/or at a nationally recognized firm
- Experience managing complex cross-border employment matters for multinational employers, including works council processes and cross-jurisdiction information-and-consultation obligations
- Strong written, verbal, and negotiation skills with solid legal and business judgment
- Self-directed and collaborative, able to juggle competing priorities across functions and geographies in a fast-paced environment
