Responsibilities- Oversee and review federal/state corporate income tax returns (Forms 1120, 1120-S) and high-net-worth returns (Form 1040) with complex portfolios
- Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to corporate and HNW clients to minimize liabilities and mitigate risks
- Maintain consultative relationships with business owners, executives, and HNW families
- Mentor and evaluate tax staff; guide assignments and support professional development
- Collaborate on engagement management, budgeting, billing, and business development activities
- Research complex multi-jurisdictional tax issues and document findings in memos for internal teams and clients
Key requirements- 8+ years of progressive public accounting experience focusing on corporate and HNW taxation
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting; active CPA license
- Preferred MST or LLM in Taxation; experience with multi-state issues and closely held business consulting
- Proficiency with advanced tax software and strong knowledge of current tax codes
- Analytical thinking and rigorous research
