Overview In this role you manage client credit needs across project finance, tax equity and corporate lending, partnering with relationship managers and product teams. You lead loan structuring discussions and guide documentation with internal and external partners. You drive the credit and risk approval process for new and ongoing credit; mentor junior staff and support underwriting and modeling to inform decisions. The role supports the bank's Sustainable Infrastructure Finance Initiative and embeds across lines of business. You will help deliver responsible growth through robust, client-focused solutions.

Responsibilities- Partner with relationship management and product partners to assess clients' credit needs and craft solutions
- Lead loan structuring conversations and negotiate loan documents with clients and legal partners
- Drive credit and risk approval processes for originations, renewals, increases, and modifications
- Mentor and support associates
- Support underwriting and documentation of project finance and other facilities aligned with risk/return objectives
- Support financial modeling, loan structure, industry and economic analyses to inform loan decisions
- Ensure adherence to credit policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Perform financial, industry, counterparty and transaction analyses to support underwriting decisions
- Review credit profiles of key counterparties (borrowers, sponsors, servicers, off-takers) and assess structural and stress considerations
- Monitor client operating performance and financial condition; identify issues and opportunities
Key requirements- 8+ years in commercial banking or finance with substantial credit, tax equity and infrastructure/energy project finance experience
- Strong understanding of financial models and analysis
- Experience handling highly complex, project-oriented transactions (tax equity and debt)
- Strong credit and risk analysis skills for commercial and large corporate credit analysis
- Ability to manage multiple transactions/tasks concurrently
- Effective communication with internal and external clients and partners
- Experience mentoring junior associates
