Overview In this role you lead environmental projects for the Gulf Coast power sector, guiding multidisciplinary teams from pursuit to delivery. You'll manage scope, schedule, and permitting while growing client relationships and cross-practice collaboration. Your work supports ERCOT/MISO/SPP-regulated projects with a focus on safe, compliant, and efficient execution. This position offers remote flexibility and meaningful impact in advancing sustainable energy infrastructure.

Responsibilities- Support project management and provide technical assistance for routing and siting, environmental surveying, reporting, and permitting for power projects in TX and Gulf Coast
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams across federal, state, local, and industrial clients
- Identify environmental design and regulatory requirements to inform permitting strategy according to risk and guidance
- Set project objectives and procedures; guide proposals, planning studies, designs, due diligence, and permitting
- Maintain strong business acumen and knowledge of project scope, cost, schedule, and quality
- Develop and nurture client relationships and expand networks to attract talent and opportunities
- Provide mentoring and training to staff
- Align work with HSSE procedures and Design Delivery Guidelines; uphold ethics policies
- Build industry partnerships to advance market positioning and promote cross-selling of services
- Track market conditions, revenue potential, and major clients in Gulf Region (TX, OK, AR, LA)
Key requirements- 10+ years of experience in environmental compliance, natural resource assessments and permitting
- 5+ years in project management or client relationship management
- Strong knowledge of ERCOT/MISO/SPP regions and related regulations
- Ability to translate risk and guidance into effective permitting strategies
- Experience in leading planning studies, due diligence, design, and permitting activities
- Bachelor's degree in a natural sciences field; advanced degree and related certifications are a plus
- Post-hire drug screen may be required where lawful
