Overview

As Production Supervisor in Clarksville, TN, you will oversee plant operations to meet quality, quantity, cost, and delivery targets. You will manage scheduling, quality control, materials and equipment allocation, and safety program implementation. You'll train and develop staff, supervise cross-functional teams, and drive performance improvements alongside continuous improvement engineers. The role offers hands-on leadership in a long standing, mission driven organization focused on craftsmanship and customer impact. This position emphasizes safety, team development, and accountability to deliver reliable manufacturing outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Direct and coordinate departmental operations to meet plant objectives in quality, quantity, cost, and delivery
  • Manage area schedule, quality control, and allocation of materials/equipment
  • Plan and implement safety programs and train employees on MSDS and spill response
  • Coordinate production and performance goals, organize work, and maintain a productive climate
  • Assist across departments for training and support as needed
  • Collaborate with continuous improvement engineers to drive process improvement and safety goals
  • Conduct performance reviews, administer disciplinary actions, and support HR in talent decisions
  • Ensure fair application of company policies and involve HR on compliance issues
Key requirements
  • BA degree in Business, Manufacturing, and/or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in Production/Industrial operations
  • Management/supervisory experience in a team-based environment
  • Proven ability to lead, train and develop people
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Cross-functional communication experience
  • Strong safety background with experience developing/executing safety plans
