Overview In this role, you will drive the digital transformation of BHSI's global finance function. You will partner with Finance leadership to design and execute a comprehensive digital finance strategy, delivering automation and faster insights. You will oversee large-scale finance technology initiatives and manage a portfolio of financial applications to support RCM, GL, reporting, and accounting workflows. You will lead cross-functional, globally distributed teams to implement scalable, secure finance technology solutions that align with strategic objectives. Responsibilities- Develop and execute a digital finance transformation strategy focused on automation and enhanced reporting
- Design and maintain a scalable, resilient finance technology ecosystem with integrated financial systems
- Oversee the finance-centric application portfolio for strategic alignment and lifecycle management
- Build business cases for finance technology initiatives and present to executives
- Develop and manage budgets for finance technology programs and ensure cost efficiency
- Lead RFPs, vendor evaluations, and contract negotiations for finance technology solutions
- Provide senior leadership with clear, actionable insights from complex technical information
- Gain deep knowledge of the finance technology landscape, including international requirements and multi-currency considerations
- Lead and motivate cross-functional, globally distributed teams, including vendor partners
- Drive change management and adoption strategies for new technologies
- Align technology initiatives with long-term organizational goals and demonstrate growth mindset
- Identify and remediate technical debt and vulnerabilities to reduce risk
- Monitor KPIs for finance technology initiatives and drive continuous improvement
- Rationalize application portfolio and plan lifecycle to maximize value
- Maintain and optimize existing finance applications for security and reliability
Key requirements- 15+ years of progressive IT experience with leadership in finance technology or enterprise transformation
- Proven track record delivering large-scale finance technology initiatives in global or regulated environments
- Deep understanding of General Ledger, Reporting, Credit Control, Receivables, and accounting workflows
- Strong data-driven decision-making and analytics capabilities
- Strategic thinking to articulate long-term finance technology visions
- Executive presence and ability to influence senior stakeholders
- High ownership and accountability mindset with a drive for continuous improvement
- Experience aligning technology with business objectives alongside enterprise architects and technical teams
- Technical background or hands-on experience with enterprise applications, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), integrations, and architecture (desirable)
- Advanced analytical and portfolio management skills to evaluate value, cost, risk, and performance
- Experience with global finance operations, multi-currency, and regulatory requirements
- Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks for financial systems
- Experience managing vendors and contracts for finance technology solutions
- Prior experience in insurance or financial services is a plus
- Demonstrated success in change management and stakeholder adoption for large-scale initiatives
