Overview As a Structural Engineer in Arcadis' Climate Adaptation and Water Management Team, you will support delivery of resilience-focused projects across flood risk reduction, waterfront infrastructure, and dam safety. You will work with multiple disciplines to develop calculations, designs, and contract documents that advance climate resilience and seismic risk mitigation. You'll lead project elements, mentor junior staff, and coordinate with clients and sub-contractors to ensure timely, compliant results. This role offers impact at scale, contributing to sustainable infrastructure and adaptability in challenging environments.

Responsibilities- Perform structural analysis and design for climate adaptation projects, including seismic risk reduction and flood mitigation
- Develop calculations, plans, specifications, RFPs, and contract documents
- Research feasibility of design approaches, site conditions, and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and subcontractors across the project lifecycle
- Lead deliverables, manage budgets and schedules as Design Lead, Task Manager, or Project Engineer
- Prepare permit checklists and manage scopes of work
- Mentor entry-level and junior structural staff
- Travel to project sites and client meetings as needed
Key requirements- 8 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree in related discipline
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration
