Overview In this role, you guide the Litigation marketing strategy within the Business Unit, translating objectives into targeted marketing and client-development plans. You work with cross-functional teams to shape thought leadership, pitch strategy, and market intelligence that support partner-level goals. You manage marketing assets, measure ROI on sponsorships, and convert events into pipeline opportunities. You will lead and mentor a team, driving high-impact initiatives across multiple offices. This role offers the chance to influence how the firm's litigation practice is perceived and grows.

Responsibilities- Direct narrative strategy for legal directories and rankings to accurately represent practice expertise
- Lead baseline market perceptions and competitor activity research to inform strategic planning
- Define content requirements for practice-led GTM programs and coordinate execution
- Coordinate with Pursuits and Proposals on strategy and messaging for complex RFPs and pitches
- Oversee development of practice-specific marketing and sales materials aligned with engagement and pipeline goals
- Evaluate and advise on industry sponsorship opportunities for strategic fit
- Coordinate post-engagement activities to convert events into actionable pipeline opportunities
- Collaborate with Content & Creative to leverage thought leadership across journeys
- Serve as direct supervisor and mentor to direct reports; manage staffing, time logs, and policies
- Support professional development, hiring, performance appraisals, and other HR lifecycle events
- Perform other duties as assigned
Key requirements- 7+ years in marketing or business development, with 2+ years in exempt/management roles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, iManage and other firm applications
- Ability to work extended hours and travel as required
- Ability to work independently and mentor others
- Prior professional services or B2B marketing experience
- Legal industry experience (preferred)
- Bachelor's degree (preferred)
