Overview In this role you will lead contract management efforts within the Environment & Planning group, guiding a team to handle proposals, negotiations, and contract administration for a diverse client base. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners and senior leadership to translate strategic goals into effective contracting practices. The position offers exposure to state/local, commercial, and occasional federal contracts, with opportunities to influence risk, compliance, and business growth. This role combines leadership with hands-on contract expertise in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities- Independently manage multiple proposals, negotiations, and contract administration in a fast-paced environment
- Negotiate MSAs, NDAs, Teaming Agreements, Scopes of Work, and other contract documents
- Build relationships with business partners and contract team members
- Develop business/price volumes and assess risks aligning with policies and regulations
- Advise on contract revisions and conduct negotiations to meet client and company needs
- Coordinate contracts and related documents with accounting, legal, and tax functions
- Manage and review team work products and maintain portfolio of active projects
- Delegate workload to ensure effective support for proposal and program teams
- Lead business volume reviews for solicitation compliance and policy adherence
- Provide leadership to develop negotiation, cost/price proposal, and contract administration skills within the team
- Ensure proactive maintenance of contract documentation in line with ICF practices
- Handle multiple priorities effectively
Key requirements- 5+ years of experience in contracts administration
- 0-1 year of leadership/supervisory experience
- 2+ years of experience with State and Local and/or Commercial contract arrangements
- Excellent oral and written communications
