Transportation Project Manager

Overview

In this role you manage transportation projects to improve mobility and access across communities. You will collaborate with a diverse, cross-office team to deliver planning, design, and construction support for state, local, and federal clients. You'll drive project scope, schedule, budget, and quality while strengthening client relationships. The position offers hybrid work and opportunities to contribute to nationally and regionally impactful programs.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as primary point of contact for clients, project partners, and teams
  • Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client expectations
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across planning, design, environmental studies, structures, utilities, drainage, surveying, public involvement, and construction support
  • Facilitate communication among clients, stakeholders, technical staff, and partners
  • Support development of plans, specifications, estimates, and technical reports
  • Identify challenges early and develop practical solutions
  • Support proposal preparation, interviews, and business development
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through responsive delivery
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • P.E. license in Colorado or ability to obtain within six months
  • Experience with state DOTs, local agencies, or federal transportation clients
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
  • Collaborative, proactive, client-focused project delivery approach
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to travel periodically to Greenwood Village office and client sites
