Overview As part of Yamaha's Marine team, you translate macroeconomic, industry and competitive signals into actionable insights to guide strategy and executive decisions. You own marine data, deliver structured reports, visuals, and forecasts, and support strategic planning. You'll collaborate across functions and contribute to BI initiatives that shape market positioning and business outcomes. This role offers impact through data-led storytelling and cross functional partnerships in a global marine business.

Responsibilities- Lead reporting for the Marine Business Area using macroeconomic, industry, business, and competitive data; ensure data reliability and clear output
- Identify macroeconomic, industry, business and competitive trends and provide relevant analysis to stakeholders
- Deliver competitive data analysis to generate insights on financials, strategy and market changes
- Organize data in consistent structures for visualization, reporting, forecasting and analysis to support planning and executive decisions
- Create executive-facing presentations and visuals backed by analytical findings
- Engage with internal stakeholders and the BI network to develop relevant insights
- Collaborate on special projects and continuous improvement with internal divisions, subsidiaries, and external partners
- Perform ad hoc reporting as needed
Key requirements- BA/BS degree in Business or related field
- 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency with MS Office including advanced Excel and PowerPoint
- Preferred experience with data visualization tools (SAP Analytics Cloud, Business Objects, Power BI, Tableau)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including direct communication with Executive teams
- Must be able to travel quarterly
