Overview In this role you will lead the Sales Activation organization responsible for delivering operational excellence across Amex Offers and future Ads products. You will shape the operating model, govern campaign delivery, and coordinate cross-functional partners to enable scalable growth while ensuring a high-quality merchant experience. You will drive automation, governance, and resource planning to translate commercial growth into reliable execution. Responsibilities- Lead and develop a high-performing Sales Activation team with clear roles, SLAs, governance, and performance standards.
- Allocate resources across merchant portfolios and campaign execution based on priorities and capacity.
- Foster continuous improvement, collaboration, ownership, and operational excellence.
- Oversee end-to-end sales-specific campaign execution, from win to reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Identify opportunities to automate, simplify workflows, and redesign processes for scalability.
- Partner with Product, MarOps, Analytics, Finance, Legal, GTM, and others to resolve execution challenges.
- Implement strong QA, risk management, and compliance controls in campaign delivery.

- Develop merchant segmentation, coverage, and service models balancing needs and efficiency.
- Lead capacity planning, monitor workload, and improve merchant experience, engagement, and retention.
- Create scalable servicing approaches to free capacity for strategic activities across teams.
- Establish and manage a performance-management framework with metrics on productivity, throughput, cycle time, and satisfaction.
- Deliver business reviews to senior leadership highlighting results, risks, and opportunities.
- Develop business cases for investments in automation, technology, and process improvement.
