Overview

As a Senior Environmental Professional, you will lead and grow the Environmental Services practice in the western region, focusing on indoor air, soil vapor, methane, and groundwater assessment, mitigation, and remediation. You will work from the Long Beach office, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality client service and expand the client base. You'll manage projects financially and technically, mentor staff, and contribute to firm growth as a Seller-Doer. Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership within the indoor air, soil vapor, methane, soil, and groundwater practice area and drive growth
  • Develop new and existing clients and contribute to staff utilization, mentoring, and development
  • Manage projects financially and technically; review reports and mentor staff in report preparation
  • As a Seller, lead in new client acquisition, cross-sell services, draft and review proposals, and enhance value for clients
  • Collaborate with national experts to resolve environmental challenges (remediation, vapor intrusion, regulatory liaison, brownfield redevelopment)
Key requirements
  • 12+ years of related work experience
  • 5+ years at an environmental consulting firm
  • Project and personnel management experience
  • Professional registration (P.E. or P.G.)
  • Track record in designing and implementing mitigation/remedial measures (soil vapor extraction and vapor intrusion/methane mitigation)
  • Experience with methane ordinances in southern California preferred
  • Business development experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Outstanding client service track record
  • Cross-functional collaboration and mentoring

  • Mitigation/remedial system design (soil vapor extraction, vapor intrusion, methane mitigation)
