Overview In this role you will manage underwriting, credit monitoring and portfolio oversight to support loan growth and risk control. You will collaborate with Relationship Managers and Credit to structure credits and maintain portfolio quality. You'll engage in cross-selling banking services and provide guidance on market trends to clients. The position offers exposure to lending decisions, cash-flow and collateral analyses, and regulatory-compliant credit administration. This is a client-facing, impact-driven role at a well-established commercial bank.
Responsibilities- Manage loan/deposit portfolio for the team
- Cross-sell banking services to clients and prospects
- Review existing credits and ensure compliance with credit policy and regulatory guidelines
- Co-manage commercial relationships and recommend loan structure
- Monitor credit risk and portfolio performance; manage past-due and repayment ability
- Assist with due diligence on new client relationships and opportunity memos
- Participate in loan approvals and renewal processes
- Act as liaison to Credit Department and internal partners
- Represent the bank at community/business functions
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree or combination of education and directly related experience
- 5-7 years banking experience with 3-4 years direct portfolio management experience
- Strong underwriting and projection skills
- Solid understanding of credit policy and ability to risk-rate loans and evaluate cash-flow and collateral-based credits
- Knowledge of Treasury, FX and Derivative products
