Overview As a Licensed Civil Engineer at Olsson, you will independently manage engineering and project management duties for land development from concept through completion. You will perform design calculations, help develop project scopes and schedules, and travel to job sites for observation. You'll guide less experienced staff and coordinate with project managers and clients, while maintaining project information in the firm's management system. Responsibilities- Perform engineering duties for evaluating, designing, and constructing plans on small to large projects
- Assist with preparing project documents and managing scope, schedule, and budget
- Conduct process design calculations, analyze reports, and prepare cost estimates
- Coordinate design aspects and apply standard methods to assignments
- Communicate project development and progress with managers/clients
- Enter and maintain project data in the project management system
- Evaluate and adapt standard methods for assignments
- Potentially supervise and provide technical guidance to junior staff
- May travel to job sites in various terrains and conditions
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
- Minimum of 4 years of related civil engineering experience
- Proficient in Civil 3D software
- Must be a registered professional engineer (PE)
