Supply Chain Services Supervisor

Overview

In this role you will supervise and guide supply chain staff to meet safety, productivity, and quality targets while ensuring timely delivery of supplies to facility departments. You will oversee semi-annual warehouse and General Stores inventory and drive continuous improvements in logistics and processes. You will partner with cross-functional teams to manage budget, staffing, and system needs. This position offers the chance to shape operations in a large healthcare system and contribute to an efficient supply chain that supports patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise staff, including hiring, training, and performance management
  • Manage timekeeping and payroll for team; resolve escalated issues
  • Lead warehouse/General Stores processes and drive efficiencies
  • Identify improvement opportunities and communicate trends to leadership
  • Oversee delivery of supplies to customer departments
  • Maintain organized work areas to optimize processes
  • Address Lawson inventory control and open receiving reports
  • Document and analyze supply distribution data for volumes and trends
Key requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience (preferred)
  • Healthcare supply chain, warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics, or materials management experience (preferred)
  • Experience supporting procedural/clinical areas (OR, Cath Lab, Endoscopy, Nursing Units) (preferred)
  • Lean, process improvement, or project leadership experience (preferred)
  • Knowledge of healthcare inventory best practices, PAR management, cycle counting, product standardization (preferred)
  • Experience with inventory management systems (Tecsys, Lawson, Ivalua) (preferred)
  • Strong administrative and planning skills; team supervision and motivation abilities
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and data analysis skills
