Manager, Financial Statement and Regulatory Reporting

Overview

In this role you will oversee regulatory reporting for investment funds and guide a team of fund accountants. You will coordiate with clients, auditors, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate Form PF, Form SLT, and other regulatory filings. You'll develop staff, share regulatory knowledge, and contribute to process improvements. This position sits at the heart of Citco's fund administration, helping to uphold strong compliance and reporting standards while supporting client success.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and review daily and periodic reporting work by the team
  • Compile and advise on monthly, quarterly and annual regulatory reports (e.g., Form PF, Form SLT)
  • Train staff on regulations and updated rules; set team and individual goals; conduct performance evaluations
  • Manage career development for Regulatory Reporting Accountants
  • Prepare and review reports related to engagements; write/ad hoc client reports
  • Troubleshoot fund accounting and client issues; provide issue resolution during peak periods
  • Attend meetings and trainings to enhance knowledge to pass on to the team
  • Identify and communicate regulatory pronouncements to clients and offices
  • Understand engagement economics and budget management for engagements and projects
  • Identify opportunities for new clients and value-added service enhancements
Key requirements
  • 4-6 years of experience in accounting/financial services roles
  • 3 years' supervisory experience of a team of investment funds accountants/auditors
  • Strong knowledge of Regulatory Compliance requirements
  • Experience in financial statement or regulatory review and/or preparation
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and IFRS
  • Advanced knowledge in complex derivatives
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
  • CPA, CFA, CA or other professional designation preferred
  • Able to travel as necessary
